A research article, "Impact of pre-visit contextual data collection on patient-physician communication and patient activation: a randomized trial," has been published in the Journal of General Internal Medicine. 

This study showed that PatientWisdom generates double-digit gains in the percentage of patients who report that their doctor treated them with respect, showed care and concern, showed interest in their ideas, and spent the right amount of time with them.
